100 Issues of Registered Gas Engineer Magazine

100 Issues of Registered Gas Engineer Magazine

This month we are celebrating the 100th Issue of Registered Gas Engineer Magazine. This accolade recognises the 8 solid years we have been working on RGE creating the only official industry publication.

To provide backdrop, Gas Safe Register is the official gas registration body for the UK, Isle of Man and Guernsey appointed by the relevant health and safety authority for each area.  Legally all gas engineers must be on the Gas Safe Register, this replaced CORGI as the main gas registration body in the UK and Isle of Man on 1st April 2009 and Northern Island and Guernsey by 1st April 2010.

As of April 2009, the first publication of Registered Gas Engineer was issued, with around 57,569 registered businesses. As of February, there are now 73,956 registered businesses. So, you may be wondering what our role was in the growth of the magazine?  Our role focused on the promotion and sales of RGE, and ensuring the ad approval and production adhered to RGE’s exacting standards.

With our help RGE (Registered Gas Engineer) magazine is now established and recognised as the leader in the sector and circulation has grown by 16,387. We’ve also worked on building and enhancing the website, mobile, subscriptions and app compatibility creating an integrated user experience.

The 100th issue accredits not just the magazine and RGE but the hard work the whole team have put into the magazine and its consistent achievement.  The magazine is now the go to magazine for all Gas Safe Registered engineers for skills and safety guidance, and to ensure they do their jobs properly.
