We have an unrivalled depth of expertise across B2B media sales agency and B2C selling online media, magazine, sponsorship and events to an engaged customer base, both direct and agency. We develop a deep understanding of clients and their industries and work seamlessly with in-house teams and other suppliers.

Ian Carter

Ian Carter started out as an agency planner / buyer with TMP, working with many of the UK’s most successful organisations. In ad sales since ’92, as an Ad Manager on Business and Consumer titles, Ian was MD of McMillan-Scott / Ten Alps from 2002-2009, during which period he transformed the business into a successful multimedia publishing agency. He has a Masters in Strategic Business Management (Westminster) and a Postgrad Diploma in Management Studies (Greenwich).

Likes: Vinyl, snowboarding, cycling, having fun with his kids, trying to be hip.

Dislikes: Ladders, earwigs and cucumber sandwiches.

Tim Porter

Tim has over two decades experience driving growth across print, digital and events revenues in a broad range of industries including agriculture, healthcare, HR, construction and communications. In his role as Head of Sales at RELX Group, Tim took full commercial responsibility for brands including Farmers Weekly, Optician and Hairdressers Journal.

In a world full of complex language and even more complex sales strategy, Tim believes in a no-nonsense approach to driving sales performance. His pragmatic approach to selling delivers great results for both our customers and clients alike.

Likes: Catfish angling, Chelsea FC, Japanese cars and Rick Springfield

Dislikes: Morris Men, bananas, moths and hip hop

Kim is our Accounts Manager with extensive experience gained in Accountancy practice and the Events industry. Kim enjoys a good book, the countryside and a good gig.

Likes: Cuddles with her grand-dog Franco, Holidays with the hubby, going to gigs.

Dislikes: Peas (the Devil's food and root of all evil), Chelsea FC, Rude People.

Charlotte Dyason

Charlotte is an experienced and consistently high achiever in the Media Shed team, also the social secretary and chief Christmas organiser.  Charlotte graduated from Canterbury Christ Church University after studying in film, radio and television (specialising in radio) and has built a successful track record on all of her projects down the years.

Likes: Travelling, Disney, comics, Harry Potter and Queen.

Dislikes: Cold weather, olives and rude people.

Bev's experience derives from account management on the agency side from Hoggett Bowers, Brunnings, TMP and Kingsway Advertising.  A graduate of Guildhall and Canterbury, Bev brings creative flair and a strategic approach to consumer, women's interest and arts titles to the benefit of our clients.
